Hello friends, and welcome back! I hope that you all had a great holiday season full of love, laughter, and family. Batman & Flash Costumes – Tutorial

Because the process for creating the Batman and Flash costumes are pretty similar, I have combined both tutorials into this one post. When you really get down to it, most superhero costumes are just based on slim fit pajamas in various colors and designs. And the cotton fiber used to create pajamas are MUCH more durable than the cheap silky fabric used in store bought Halloween costumes. So why not make your own?

Aquaman Costume – Tutorial

The first of this year’s Halloween costumes is done, and Aquaman has never looked cuter! I started off this project by doing a little bit of research on the various costumes that Aquaman has had over the years, trying to find the right fit for my #3 baby. I decided to go with a classic approach minus the underwear over the leggings look.

Freezer Paper – Superhero Shirts

I love creating things for my three kids. I love sewing their Halloween costumes, crocheting their winter beanies, or designing art for their room. Nothing can compare to the joy on my children’s faces when they receive a gift that was made just for them. One of my favorite ways to do this is by painting custom shirts. With a freezer paper stencil and a little bit of fabric paint, any plain shirt can become an instant favorite.
